Applications

We warmly welcome applications from external students both boys and girls. To join the sixth form, students must achieve a minimum of five GCSEs grades 9-4. Each subject has specific entry requirements and many require a GCSE grade 6 in that subject or related subject. Please check the sixth form subject options document  for specific details of course content and grade requirements. This can be found at  https://www.holtschool.co.uk/sixth-form/options/

At The Holt all students  study three A-level subjects , however a fourth A level may be possible dependent on your GCSE results. We also offer a BTEC Health and Social Care course that can be taken as a double, alongside one A level or as a triple option, which is the equivalent of 3  A levels. If you have any queries regarding the application process or want to find out more about the sixth form please do contact j.calliss@holt.wokingham.sch.uk or attend one of our open mornings.
