We would love you to join our sixth form!
We are proud of our friendly and vibrant co-educational sixth form, where we will support you to achieve your very best and prepare you for life beyond school. We will inspire you to go on in your chosen direction and that the good character you have formed will impact positively on your life and those of others to make for a better world. Teaching at The Holt is excellent; you will benefit from our dedicated teachers, their extensive subject knowledge and their drive to inspire you to enjoy and achieve in your chosen areas of study. By selecting The Holt you will be selecting a sixth form that has a proven academic record; the A-level pass rate in 2018 was 99% with 30.3% A*-A and 58% A*- B. In a measure of value added, we were judged to be in the top 25% of schools nationally over 3 years. Throughout your time in the sixth form, we want to grow your self-confidence so you know you can do whatever you want with hard work, commitment and guidance. By choosing to study at The Holt you will be presented with unique opportunities to

- develop your leadership skills and meaningful relationships with younger students through the diverse enrichment opportunities that we offer
- receive expert information, advice and guidance, which will allow you to progress to the best universities, apprenticeships or employment.
We warmly welcome applications from external students and of course boys! To join the sixth form, students must achieve a minimum of five GCSEs grades 9-4, including at least a grade 4 in maths and English. Each subject has specific entry requirements and many require a GCSE grade 6 in that subject or related subject. Please check the subject information for specific details. At The Holt all students will study three A-level subjects and our most able will study four A levels.
