Are you interested in training to be a teacher in Wokingham?
Teacher Training is now available at The Holt School as part of the Wokingham Secondary Federation’s partnership with the University of Reading. High-quality Initial Teacher Education (ITE) is offered in highly regarded and academically successful local schools.

The Federation offers many places to talented graduates for training to become teachers. We are looking to appoint excellent trainees who are enthusiastic and passionate about teaching and who have the ability and drive to become outstanding practitioners.

Depending on your subject specialism, you can now earn up to £30,000 tax free if you train to teach with us. Up to date details of funding for 2024 – 2025 trainees can be found at ITT funding 2025-2026.

The Federation works in close partnership with local primary schools and is also able to offer training places for applicants interested in teaching the 5 – 11 age range.
